After her boyfriend insisted on abortion and left her when she was seven weeks Pʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ, Maia Knight, a 25-year-old mother of ᴛᴡɪɴꜱ from New York, told how she found the strength to raise her child on her own.

Through her @maiaknight TikTok account, Maia chronicled her experience of being abandoned, surviving, and finding happiness. She currently has 7.4 million well-deserved fans.

She addressed her ex’s tragic response to her unplanned pregnancy and the months leading up to the birth of her daughter on March 22, 2021, in a recent video.

One morning before I left for work, I just randomly decided to take a pregnancy test. That’s good, she wrote in the caption of a video of her lip-syncing Mika’s rendition of Grace Kelly as Sarah Cothran.

Maia recalls: I discovered that I was five weeks along with ᴛᴡɪɴꜱ after visiting an obstetrician-gynaecologist. When I became Pʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ at seven weeks, he advised me to seek an abortion and to cease talking to him. I moved home with my mum while concealing my pregnancy from the public.

She claimed that her worry about being a single mother to two young daughters had left her feeling extremely unhappy.

She said: My gynaecologist diagnosed me with pre-eclampsia and admitted me to the hospital when I was 34 weeks Pʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ. I began to experience contractions, went into heart failure, and needed an ambulance right away. Three hours separate you from the hospital.

Fortunately, she and her ᴛᴡɪɴꜱ made it through this incredibly trying situation. Due to their preterm birth, the ᴛᴡɪɴꜱ Violet and Scout spent three weeks in the NICU. They have a beautiful mother, and they are both happy and healthy today.

She shared: I knew I could do this since I had two wonderful little children who were also my best friends. My family and friends were behind me. My entire wish list has come true.

Since it was published in October, the video has had over 12.6 million views, and ᴍᴀɴy people have sent supportive comments for the single mother.
