Cheddar, the older canine, takes the initiative to grab his leash and head out for a stroll to visit his neighbor Jean, signaling his desire for a walk to his humans.

For eight years, Cheddar the Golden Retriever enjoyed a typical dog’s existence. He was raised by a loving family who doted on him and treated him like royalty.

Cheddar’s life took a drastic turn when one of his owners was diagnosed with cancer. The family had to prioritize the necessary care for their loved one, which left them with little time and resources to give Cheddar the attention he deserved. As a result, they had to find him a new home through adoption.

It wouldn’t be too long before he discovered his new permanent abode.

As soon as Cheddar set foot in his new abode, he sensed something peculiar while strolling around the vicinity.

While greeting their elderly neighbor, the couple’s pet Golden Retriever named Cheddar developed an instant connection with the woman named Jean. Their friendship bloomed and became inseparable over time. Cheddar would insist on meeting her every day and would throw a tantrum when unable to do so. In fact, he would grab his leash and signal his owners to go for a walk just to visit Jean.

When Cheddar and Jean go for a walk, the dog always pulls towards Jean’s house if they go in a different direction. It’s unclear why, but their connection is undeniable. Love doesn’t require an explanation, and you can see their bond in the video below.

When Monster, a canine on a shrimp boat, accidentally fell overboard, the owner had lost hope of ever seeing her again. However, something miraculous happened a few days later as the determined dog paddled its way back home by swimming to shore.

Keith, a Texas-based shrimping captain fondly known as Kiwi, has a close bond with his dog Monster. The furry friend is always by his side on his daily fishing expeditions. However, on a recent trip, tragedy struck when Monster unexpectedly fell into the water. Despite being familiar with swimming and it being a calm day, the dog vanished without a trace. Keith combed every inch of the water and surroundings in search of his beloved pet, but he gradually lost hope. “Losing Monster was like losing the only thing that mattered to me in this world,” Keith expressed in despair.

Keith took to social media to narrate his ordeal in the hopes of finding his missing pet, Monster. His post was met with an outpouring of sympathy and prayers from online well-wishers. After five days of anxious waiting, Keith received excellent news- Monster was found alive and healthy. As per reports by FOX 26 Houston, Monster managed to survive by swimming for approximately five to six miles across Galveston Bay to reach the shore.

Following her remarkable journey, Monster was discovered several days later when she finally reached the shore. Upon hearing her story, Keith was left in utter shock. “I couldn’t believe it,” he exclaimed to FOX 26. “There’s no way that dog could have swum that far.” After several emotional days of separation, Keith and Monster were ecstatic to be reunited once again. “I was crying so much that I couldn’t even speak,” Keith added. “But Monster just kept showering me with kisses.” Now that Monster is back at home, Keith is still recuperating from the emotional strain of the search. Despite her long adventure, however, Monster seems relatively unaffected by the ordeal.

Keith posted on Facebook that his dog, who had gone missing while they were out on a boat trip, acted like nothing happened when they were finally reunited. He shared a photo of the happy dog sleeping and even joked that she may have jumped off the boat on purpose to get on TV. Despite the scare, Keith expressed his love for his furry friend and plans to ensure her safety on future boat trips by equipping her with a tracking device and a life jacket. The reunion was a miracle, and it’s evident that these two have a strong bond and are elated to be back together.
